IELTS Preparation Course

Choose the IELTS path that matches your goals, understand the structure of the test, and prepare with confidence for each module.

Choose Your IELTS Version

In this IELTS course, you can choose between the General Training (GT) version of IELTS and the Academic version.

The GT version of IELTS is for those who intend to migrate to other countries or apply for business or work visas in many countries.

The Academic version is for those who intend to apply to colleges and universities around the world.

Test Structure

There are four modules in the IELTS test: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

The Listening and Speaking parts are the same in both the GT and Academic versions.

The Reading and Writing parts are different in GT and Academic IELTS.

Timing Overview

Listening About 40 min
Reading 1 hour
Writing 1 hour
Speaking 11–14 min
The overall test time is about 3 hours. The speaking section usually takes place before or after the written test, and it may be on a different day.
IELTS ONE SKILL RETAKE

A Valuable Option for Test Takers

If you have taken IELTS and have not reached your desired score in one skill, you may be able to choose IELTS One Skill Retake.

This option allows you to retake only one skill instead of taking the entire IELTS test again.

You can try IELTS One Skill Retake within 60 days of your original test date.

If you want to retake one of the IELTS modules (Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking), IELTS One Skill Retake must be available in your region. This option is still not available everywhere.
