How the Guarantee Works
For that reason, we created our Guaranteed Private Courses to give learners
greater confidence in the quality of our instruction. However, language learning also depends
on the learner’s performance and on the time, effort, and consistency they put into their studies.
Therefore, the guarantee applies only when the following terms and conditions are met.
These Terms of Guarantee help learners stay on the right path and support the best possible learning experience.
Terms and Conditions of Guarantee
Refunds and Extra Support

If the learner is not completely satisfied with the registered guaranteed course,
the learner has until the end of session three to request cancellation and receive a full refund.
A nominal administration fee of $80 will be deducted, and the remaining balance will be refunded.

When a learner in a guaranteed course does not achieve the intended result,
PEN Languages offers one-fourth (1/4) of the total number of registered classes free of charge.
In addition, the learner is eligible for six months of online or in-person support
and English practice, depending on availability. This support is based on
30 minutes per week.

For example, if a learner registers for a guaranteed course package containing 40 sessions
of 1.5 hours each and does not achieve the goal, PEN Languages will offer
10 additional sessions free of charge, plus 30 minutes of extra support each week
for up to six months for the same course. The duration of each extra session will match the
original session length. As a result, for a 40-session course, this guarantee is worth approximately $1600.
Eligibility and Course Requirements

Guaranteed courses apply only to complete course packages with a clear objective goal at the end.
In other words, these courses must lead to a measurable result, such as a specific IELTS or TOEFL score.
In addition, such results must come from an official authority accepted by PEN Languages.
At present, PEN Languages accepts only official results from IELTS and TOEFL authorities.

For courses that aim to improve the learner’s English skills in listening, reading,
writing, and speaking, only PEN Languages may administer the test or exam used to verify the intended result.
Moreover, we provide these tests and exams in an unbiased manner, and we align them with the course materials and the initial objective.

Only learners who receive an email confirming that the registered course is a
Guaranteed Private Course are eligible for the guarantee conditions.

There is a nominal fee for guaranteed courses, depending on the type and duration of the course.
This fee is payable at the time of registration.
Cancellations, Progress, and Guarantee Status

After a guaranteed course starts, if the learner decides to cancel it,
there is no refund, and the guarantee becomes void
(please refer to Term 1 above).

To qualify as a guaranteed course, a course must include a minimum of 10 sessions of 1.5 hours each.

Every three sessions, the learner receives a progress sheet. This progress sheet shows the learner’s
progress and effort toward achieving the goal. If a progress sheet is negative, the learner has until the next
progress sheet to improve the progress. However, two consecutive negative progress sheets
will void the guarantee, although the learner may continue the course. In such cases, if insufficient performance
voids the guarantee, the learner may not request a refund.
