At PEN, we do our best to provide you with the best service you can ever receive. We are confident that our teaching methods are of the best and can help you achieve your goals in the most efficient way. That is why we have created our “Guaranteed Private Courses” to assure you of our highest quality courses. However, as learning a language depends on the learner’s performance and the amount of time and energy they invest in their learning, the teacher and the methods cannot guarantee everyone’s success. For that reason, the guarantee of our courses applies when the following terms and conditions are met. These Terms of Guarantee ensure that our English learners are on the right path to their best learning experience.
Terms and Conditions of Guarantee:
- If the learner is not completely satisfied with their registered “guaranteed course”, they have until the end of session three to request a cancellation for a full refund. A nominal administration fee of $80 is deducted from their fee and the remaining is refunded.
- If the registered learner for a “guaranteed course” does not achieve their intended result, PEN LANGUAGES offers them to attend one-fourth (1/4) of the total number of their registered classes for free. Also, the learner is eligible for six months of online or in-person (whichever is available) support and English practice. Such support is based on 30 minutes per week.
- For example, an English learner registers for a “guaranteed course” and the full package contains 40 sessions (1.5 hours each session). At the end of the course, they do not achieve their goal. PEN LANGUAGES offers the learner 10 free sessions of extra classes and 30 minutes of extra practice or learning support each week for a maximum of six months for the same course. The duration of each extra session is the same as the duration of each session in their original course. For a 40-session course, this guarantee is worth approximately $1600.
- Guaranteed courses are for complete packages that have a certain objective goal at the end. These courses must lead to a measurable result such as a particular IELTS or TOEFL score. These results must be issued by an official authority that is accepted by PEN LANGUAGES. For now, only official results from IELTS and TOEFL authorities are accepted.
- If a guaranteed course is to help improve the learner’s English skills of listening, reading, writing, and speaking, only PEN LANGUAGES can administer a test or exam to verify the intended result. Such tests and exams are provided in an unbiased manner and are in line with the course materials and initial goal.
- Only learners who receive an email confirming that their registered course is a “guaranteed course” are eligible for our guaranteed conditions.
- There is a nominal fee for “guaranteed courses which depends on the type and duration of the course. This fee is payable at the time of registration.
- If the learner decides to cancel their “guaranteed course” after it starts, there is no refund and the guarantee is void (refer to the first bullet point above).
- Only courses with minimum 10 sessions (1.5 hours each session) are eligible for “guaranteed courses”.
- The learner receives a progress sheet every three sessions. This progress sheet demonstrates the learner’s progress and effort to achieve their goal. If any progress sheet comes negative, the learner has until the next progress sheet to make up for the undesirable progress. Two consecutive negative progress sheets voids the guarantee; however, the learner can continue the course. Also, in case the guarantee is void for “incompetence” reasons, the learner cannot request a refund.
